Please contact support - MX Records can not be altered on subdomains
If you are working on the MX Records for the domain names on your hosting account, you may see the following error:
Error #459346986 Please contact supportMX Records can not be altered on subdomains
You may see this error when trying to delete the MX record for your account's main domain.
When your account is created, a "main domain" is automatically generated for it. These main domains are a subdomain of eight random characters, followed by an InfinityFree domain. An example main domain looks like "ss6y0hra.epizy.com". These main domains are just internal identifiers, they do not show any website, cannot be used to receive email and do not affect any other domains on your account.
You can safely ignore the MX record for the main domain. In the MX record list, pay close attention to the Domain column in the table. For example, if you are trying to configure MX records for example.com, only the rows with "example.com" in the Domain column apply to that domain.
How does this error affect receiving email?
Receiving email with subdomains is not supported at this moment. You cannot create email accounts or forwarders with subdomains and it's not possible to change the MX records on subdomains.
Receiving email with addon domains and parked domains is fully supported, either using the InfinityFree email service or using a third party email service.
How does this error affect sending email?
MX records only affect which email service is responsible for receiving email. MX records do not control who can send email for your domain names. Sending email is never affected by the MX records of a domain.
